Baiyun has designated 2026 as the Year of Ecological Environment Protection Promotion and recently released a related action plan.

This plan systematically outlines annual key tasks across areas, including water, air, soil, groundwater, solid and hazardous waste, noise control, radiation safety, law enforcement and supervision, and smart empowerment, as the district aims to intensify its efforts in pollution prevention, advancing its ecological governance toward greater systematization, precision, and intelligence.

Looking ahead to 2035, Baiyun aims to solidify its status as a "mountain-water smart city", fostering a vibrant, livable environment that harmonizes city and nature.
