The Yunshan Core Park, located in Baiyun New City, Guangzhou, celebrated the topping out of its main structure for the phase-one project on Aug 20.

The project, now in the commercial preparation phase, is expected to open at the end of December.

With a gross floor area of 465,000 square meters and an investment of more than 3 billion yuan ($445 million), Yunshan Core Park adopts a hybrid "block + mall" model. The diverse array of offerings includes an immersive shopping center, park-style blocks, an international membership supermarket, a star-rated hotel and Grade A office buildings.

Beyond shopping, the project integrates diverse lifestyle amenities. Complementary facilities such as a rooftop garden plaza, a comprehensive sports center, children's activity squares and pet-friendly zones create a 24-hour vibrant commercial lifestyle hub.

As the largest upcoming commercial complex in Baiyun New City in 2026, the project is managed by Guangzhou-based KINGBUY Commercial, which aims to create "the Lingnan Living Room Closest to the World".

The commercial complex has attracted over 100 regional flagship stores, achieving an over 90 percent success rate in leasing intentions, promising a significant upgrade to the area's commercial landscape.
