Guangzhou's Baiyun district recently launched an e-commerce livestreaming training to boost the local cosmetics industry.

This initiative, launched by the Baiyun District Federation of Trade Unions and the Guangzhou Federation of Trade Unions, aims to enhance the e-commerce capabilities of local beauty brands.

In his opening remarks, Liu Gai, deputy director of the Baiyun market supervision administration and chairman of the Baiyun Cosmetics Industry Union, emphasized the transformative impact of e-commerce livestreaming on the beauty industry.

The training, held at Baiyun Meiwan Plaza, features lectures by Associate Professor Gu Yu and Lecturer Xiao Peng from Nanfang College Guangzhou. The four-day program combines theoretical instruction with practical exercises, covering topics such as short video production, livestreaming techniques, operational methods, and self-media promotion.

The comprehensive curriculum includes group discussions and hands-on training, allowing participants to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. Each group, consisting of three to five members, collaborates to solve practical problems, enhancing their livestreaming abilities.

The training aligns closely with market demands, creatively integrating beauty brand marketing with livestreaming skills. From course design to final presentations, the program emphasizes practical application, providing holistic support for domestic beauty brands.
