Updated : August 29, 2024

As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, Guangzhou's Baiyun district introduced its exquisite mooncakes, blending tradition with modern innovation.

The renowned Guangzhou Laili Food, known for its Tomson's Mooncake, has gained significant consumer recognition over the years. This year, they are introducing the Black Truffle Yunnan Ham and Salted Egg Yolk Mooncake, a low-sugar, low-fat delicacy with four layers of filling, including wild black truffle and handcrafted Yunnan ham.

In collaboration with a national intangible cultural heritage inheritor, Tomson's has redesigned traditional mooncake molds, symbolizing good fortune with a lion dance motif. The mooncakes, with their purple packaging, have won multiple awards, including the ISEE Taste Award and the Innovation Award.
