The Huangbian Urban Renewal Project, a key component of the Design Capital of Guangzhou, has made great progress.

The first concrete slab for the basement of Building 4 in Plot 12 was poured on Oct 12, marking the transition from foundational to basement construction. This project, located on Helong Street near major transportation routes including National Highway 106, Huanan Expressway, multiple stations of Metro Line 14 and Line 2, is set to transform the area into a high-quality development zone.

The project, which commenced earlier this year, covers a total land area of 39.11 hectares with a planned total floor area of 853,200 square meters post-renovation. It includes residential and collective property reconstruction areas, as well as financing zones. The first buildings in the reconstruction area are expected to be topped out next year.

On the day of the pour, a combination of a sky pump, a ground pump, and over 10 mixer trucks, along with dozens of workers, collaborated to achieve the goal of completing the first slab. The total volume of concrete poured was over 1,500 cubic meters. This early start, 13 days ahead of schedule, signifies the project's smooth progress.
