From an aerial view, the reservoir resembles a pearl embedded in lush greenery, sparkling like crystal jelly under the sunlight, earning the nickname "Jelly Sea" among netizens.
The surrounding vegetation of the reservoir is rich, with phoenix trees, kapok trees, Common Melastoma, and rhododendron champions interweaving with each other, creating a garden-like landscape.
The 3.7-kilometer greenway built around the reservoir has become a popular destination for residents to relax and exercise. The greenway integrates jogging, cycling, sightseeing, and leisure activities, with 10 scenic spots designed to form an ecological slow travel system.
Currently, Helong village is promoting the construction of greenways within the village. In the future, it will leverage the reservoir to integrate surrounding resources, promote the landing of cultural tourism and health care supporting projects, and boost the dual enhancement of regional ecology and tourism.
