Baiyun enterprises gear up for 137th Canton Fair
The 137th Canton Fair will be held in Guangzhou in three phases from April 15 to May 5.
Nearly 170,000 overseas buyers have pre-registered for this session. For the first time, a service robot zone will be added in the first phase, along with the first-ever urban food culture event in the history of the Canton Fair.

A total of 188 companies from Baiyun district are participating in this session, marking a 2.7 percent increase from the previous session, securing 507 booths, a 3.9 percent increase. The participating companies are mostly private enterprises covering various product categories.
Many Baiyun companies are confident about the Canton Fair this time. For instance, Guangzhou Hanle Electric Appliance will showcase its latest Mini LED products; Guangdong Tianqiu Electronic Technology, with over 20 years of experience in the fair, will present their newly developed energy storage batteries; Guangdong Shifei Cosmetics has created over 30 new products and will send an elite team for promotion.
In the past year, Baiyun's foreign trade volume hit a historical high, with a total import and export value of 86.27 billion yuan ($11.81 billion) in 2024, a year-on-year increase of 42.5 percent, ranking first in the city in terms of growth rate.
Baiyun will establish a pre-showcase area dedicated to high-quality technological products at Terminal 2 of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, aiming to utilize the spill-over effect of the Canton Fair to strengthen the international competitiveness of local enterprises.
