By 11 am, the Yagang dragon boats had arrived at the Benghu River section, greeted by the thunder of firecrackers and rhythmic drumbeats. Boats glided back and forth across the water as teams exchanged greetings, filling the river with energy and sound. At noon, nearly 3,000 villagers came together to share in a traditional dragon boat feast.

At 2 pm, the Benghu Lake Dragon Boat Race commenced, with 20 traditional dragon boats competing in pairs, with the women's dragon boat team proving particularly eye-catching. Meanwhile, the dragon boat fellowship activity at the Xiamao section of the Junhe River was also spectacular. The traditional dragon boat of Xiamao village, which had been absent from the competition for 13 years, made a comeback, with villagers sharing in a "dragon boat feast" with their relatives.
