Yunxi Botanical Garden is situated on the picturesque western foothills of Baiyun Mountain, covering an area of 35 hectares. It is a garden destination that blends the natural aesthetic of "integrating mountains and waters" with modern design concepts.

The garden serves as an ex-situ conservation site for over 1,300 species of native and rare plants, including canopy trees, and features five distinctive display gardens. A highlight of the garden is the Flower City Art Gallery. This pure white building, which won the 2024 American Architecture Prize, resembles a "white pearl" set amid the greenery.

By recreating the bustling scenes of the West Lake Flower Market and offering in-depth floral cultural experiences, visitors can fully immerse themselves in the unique charm of Guangzhou, the "city of flowers", and enjoy the traditional activity of carrying flower baskets with a shoulder pole.
