Recently, two industrial plots in Guangzhou's Longgui sub-district, Baiyun district, were sold for projects related to new energy vehicles and the garment industry.

The first plot was acquired by Guangzhou Jiadatong New Energy Technology, with a planned investment of 255 million yuan ($35.98 million). The company aims to build a modern industrial complex integrating headquarters offices, smart manufacturing, and intelligent logistics. The core goal is to establish a national-level demonstration production base supporting the new energy vehicle industry (NEV). The company will focus on constructing a digital factory aligned with Industry 4.0 standards, specializing in intelligent thermal management systems for NEVs. The facility is expected to achieve an annual output of four million units, significantly boosting the upgrading of the regional NEV industry chain.

The second plot was secured by Guangzhou Quanta Cloud Smart Innovation Park Holding, with a planned investment of 315 million yuan. It will serve as an intelligent and eco-friendly industrial base supporting the garment industry in the Greater Bay Area. The project aims to strengthen the upstream production segment of the garment supply chain. Its construction will include smart production facilities, storage and logistics centers, and environmental processing facilities. By incorporating intelligent equipment and monitoring platforms, the project seeks to drive the transformation of the traditional garment industry toward high-end, smart, and green development, thereby enhancing its competitiveness.

The successful sale of these two plots will further strengthen the manufacturing sector in Baiyun district.
