The Cultural, Tourism, and Sports Industry Investment Promotion Conference of Baiyun District, Guangzhou was held on Jan 24. The event served as a core platform for targeted project investment and industry exchange. Thirteen key enterprises and projects signed agreements to establish a presence in the district.

A highlight of the conference was the release of the "Three-Year Action Plan for Promoting High-Quality Development of the Performing Arts Industry in Guangzhou's Baiyun District". The plan aims to build an influential performing arts industry cluster in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The signed projects cover a wide range of sectors. Trendy play leader Pop Mart's HACIPUPU studio and emerging film company One Plus Media both established a presence in the district. Major projects include the Yunhu Lake Ferris Wheel, the Pearl Riverfront Ice and Snow Cultural Tourism Sports Project, the Baiyun Digital Intelligence Cultural Tourism Platform, the "Southern Train" tourist railway line, and the "Yue Shang Bai Yun Jian" project along the Shijing River. These are expected to enhance regional infrastructure and foster industrial clustering and upgrading.

Furthermore, Baiyun joined forces with cultural, tourism, and sports departments and leading enterprises along the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-Speed Railway to establish an industrial alliance. This initiative adopts a new cross-regional cooperation model for resource sharing and joint development, integrating Baiyun deeper into the Greater Bay Area's cultural tourism landscape.
