Nation's largest ecological garden opens at Baiyun Airport
The newly opened Terminal 3 at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport now features the nation's largest airside ecological garden, offering travelers a unique waiting experience.
Covering nearly 10,000 square meters, the garden consists of two themed sections. The eastern garden (Maritime Silk Road Garden) integrates Lingnan ecology with artistic design through installations such as the "Seed Arch" and "Flowing Flower Islet", which also serve as educational exhibits. The western garden (Water Cloud Valley) recreates a majestic mountain landscape, complete with a kid-friendly castle and a pond.

The garden is equipped with flight information broadcasts to ensure travelers can enjoy the scenery without missing their flights. The terminal also houses a large-scale public art system, a commercial street with arcade-style architecture, and regularly hosts cultural activities. Through this blend of natural landscapes and cultural experiences, Baiyun Airport aims to become a key showcase of Guangzhou's urban charm and humanistic warmth.
