With a floor area exceeding 2,000 square meters, the museum innovatively makes audible music visible. It features multiple functional zones, including a record gallery, a Time Tunnel and an immersive audio-visual experience hall.

The museum also houses the nation's first comprehensive personal art gallery for a pop music songwriter — the Chen Xiaoqi Art Gallery. It displays precious materials like Chen's manuscript drafts, offering a comprehensive view of the artistic achievements of this influential musician, renowned for works such as The waves still sound the same.

As a public welfare institution, its mission extends beyond historical exhibition to include serving the contemporary music ecosystem. The museum is equipped with professional facilities, including recording studios, composing rooms, and a Live House, to gather industry resources and provide comprehensive support for music enthusiasts and creators.

Moving forward, the museum plans to host events like music lectures and training sessions to inspire a new generation of musicians and jointly sustain the brilliance of Guangdong's pop music.

The museum is open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday each week, welcoming visitors to explore and witness this cross-generational musical legacy.
