Drones and lanterns light up Greater Bay Area Lantern Festival
The 2026 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Lantern Festival on March 3 featured a variety of activities, including drone performances, a large-scale lantern-wish ritual, and a traditional folk culture parade of performers in lantern spirit, flower fairy, and crane immortal costumes, including 150 public participants, which was held from 7 pm to 7:40 pm along Tianhou Road.

A dazzling drone display painted the night sky from 8 pm to 8:10 pm, and an excerpt from the "Night of Nansha · Light of Greater Bay Area" show was performed from 8:30 pm to 8:35 pm, ensuring a continuous wave of excitement throughout the night.
