Dim Sum Duck launches 1st national headquarters in Guangzhou
The first national headquarters of cantonese restaurant brand Dim Sum Duck is under rapid construction in Guangzhou and is expected to begin operations by the end of the year.
The project is located in the core area of the Guangzhou Private Science and Technology Park in Baiyun district. It has now advanced to the phase of interior finishing and equipment installation. Workers are installing glass curtain walls on the exterior while simultaneously carrying out interior painting, installing mechanical and electrical systems.

Construction began in September 2024, and the main structure was topped out in October 2025. The project is scheduled to undergo a completion inspection in June, with an official opening anticipated in December.
With a total investment of 300 million yuan ($41.7 million) and a planned floor area of 72,000 square meters, the complex will integrate headquarters offices, food research and production facilities, cultural exhibition areas and dining experiences.

The project will also include a Cantonese cuisine cultural center, designed as an interactive museum, allowing visitors to learn about dim sum traditions and participate in food-making experiences.
The site holds special meaning for the brand, whose predecessor, Dexianglou, was founded in 1933 in Guangzhou's Longgui subdistrict, marking a symbolic return to its birthplace.
