Guangzhou Airport hosts cultural fashion show
Terminal 3 at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport served as the venue for a fashion show on March 26, as it hosted a cultural event as part of its efforts to promote cultural tourism.
The event opened with a performance by the Guangzhou Acrobatic Art Theater, featuring the beloved mascots of the 15th National Games, nicknamed "Dawan Chicken". Acclaimed Chinese theater artist Wu Feifan led a new-style Cantonese Opera, blending traditional art with contemporary flair.

Top Chinese designer Deng Zhaoping presented a fashion show inspired by Lingnan floral motifs, showcasing high-end designs inspired by floral elements dedicated to Guangzhou. Local brands from the Guangzhou Baima Clothing Market joined forces with the Seyuzu brand to highlight the latest in local fashion.
This event aligns with Baiyun district's strategy to develop its cultural, commercial, and tourism sectors, contributing to Guangzhou's vision of sharing development opportunities with the world.

"Terminal 3 is a landmark representing the image of Guangzhou city. Since its opening, it has attracted over 10,000 visitors daily," said Peng Xiaolin, general manager of the Second Aviation Branch of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
"It serves not only as a core carrier of an international aviation hub but also as an ideal stage for 'cultural + fashion' high-end shows," Peng added.
She said the airport aims to continue developing its reputation as an art-loving terminal by incorporating more art installations and hosting cultural exhibitions.
Utilizing the Canton Fair and the 240-hour visa-free transit policy, the airport plans to offer Greater Bay Area cultural and tourism route recommendations to international travelers, she added.
