As China's motorcycle maker ZXMOTO claimed a double win in the World Supersport category at the Portuguese round of the FIM Superbike World Championship, the spotlight on the championship model has also illuminated a vital player behind the scenes – the New Baiyun Motor Parts City in Baiyun district.

At the core of ZXMOTO's successful engine are critical components like the crankshaft, piston kit and clutch assembly, all supplied by Lide Industry, a key partner of ZXMOTO based in the industrial park. In 2025, Lide Industry delivered 25,000 sets of these vital parts, demonstrating their capabilities in "stable, customized, and rapid" production. With two decades of experience, Lide Industry maintains zero-defect quality control and can quickly adapt to new model developments.

The New Baiyun Motor Parts City, a "super hub" for global motorcycle parts distribution, covers an area of 80,000 square meters and serves customers in over 200 countries and regions. It offers a comprehensive range of parts for both traditional and electric motorcycles, catering to global demand.

Chen Yongliang, president of the Baiyun District Motorcycle (New Energy) and Parts Industry Promotion Association, said: "Guangzhou is a major hub for motorcycle exports in China. For every nine internal combustion motorcycles exported, one originates from Guangzhou. The New Baiyun Motor Parts City plays a key role in this ecosystem."
