Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has launched the relocation of all 11 operating domestic airlines from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 on May 7, in a major airport-wide upgrade. 

The change means all departures and arrivals for those carriers will be handled exclusively at Terminal 3. Terminal 1 parking areas will also be closed, while the Airport South metro station and Baiyun Airport South intercity rail station have temporarily stopped service.
