The first phase of the Bay Area Music City project in Guangzhou's Baiyun district has been completed and put into operation, bringing a one-stop destination combining music, dining, shopping and entertainment to the Huangshi sub-district.

The Qiangsheng Yunyi Center, the project's core component, spans 80,000 square meters of leasable space across nine buildings. Zone A, a seven-story commercial complex adjacent to Jiangxia Metro Station, has already attracted 84 businesses, including specialty dining, trendy tea shops, themed restaurants and boutique retail.

The upper floors are designed as an office hub targeting music industry players, including vinyl record companies, recording studios and livestreaming platforms, under a "forest breathing" green office concept.

When fully completed, the project will feature five functional zones, three themed commercial streets, and three theme parks, integrating music industry clusters with nighttime economy consumption, green offices, and hotel accommodations.

The Bay Area Music City is a core project for upgrading the Jiangxia area, with a total planned area reaching 120,000 sq m. Alongside the renovated Xinyue Plaza and the Guangdong Pop Music Hall, the development aims to transform the neighborhood into a new cultural landmark while boosting the regional economy.
