A massive park-style commercial complex in Guangzhou's Baiyun New Town has been officially named "Yunshan Core Park". It is scheduled to open by the end of 2026, adding a landmark destination to the district's commercial landscape.
Developed by Jinbo Commercial with a total investment exceeding 3 billion yuan ($441.36 million), the 465,000-square-meter complex will feature a shopping mall, open-air blocks, an international membership supermarket, a five-star hotel and Grade-A office space.
Designed under the concept of a "park-style ecological social center", the project draws inspiration from the nearby Baiyun Mountain, integrating rooftop gardens, plaza spaces and courtyards to create a seamless blend of shopping, recreation and nature.
The complex will house over 600 brands, with dining options spanning global cuisines, from Cantonese clay pot dishes to Japanese ramen and Mediterranean bistros. More than 100 regional debut stores have already been secured, and flagship designs for the hotel and anchor retail tenants are underway. A central green axis will connect an urban running park, an outdoor activity base and a pet-friendly garden.
Construction is progressing with the south plot entering civil works and the north plot reaching the third floor. Yunshan Core Park aims to fill the gap in high-end mixed-use commercial offerings in Baiyun New Town's core area while leveraging nearby international transport hubs.
