Visitors to the village can enjoy a picturesque stroll near the ancient Bajiao Temple and across from the Ancestral Hall of the Zhou Family, where the pink and white lotus blossoms create a stunning contrast with the lush green leaves.

This historic village, founded in 1220 during the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279) by Zhou Shilong, a ninth-generation descendant of Zhou Dunyi, the founder of Neo-Confucianism, is steeped in a rich lotus culture. Many local landmarks, such as Nanlian Square and Lianxin Bridge, reflect this cultural heritage.
