Recently, high-end hotels and catering establishments in Baiyun district, Guangzhou, have launched a variety of creative lychee-themed dishes, including hot dishes, soups, desserts, and afternoon tea.

Tasty and grease-relieving, these dishes embody the Cantonese people's wisdom of seasonal eating and diet-based health preservation in summer.

For hot dishes, Guangzhou Yilin Holiday Hotel serves Bacon-Wrapped Lychees Stuffed with Pineapple in Teriyaki Sauce. The baked bacon gives off a rich aroma, paired with bouncy shrimp and sweet fruit for layered flavors.
