VeriSilicon sets up South China R&D Center in Baiyun
The groundbreaking ceremony for VeriSilicon Microelectronics (Guangzhou )'s new center was held at Baiyun Lake Digital Technology City on July 9, marking the official launch of its South China R&D facility, which is scheduled to become operational within two months.
Its parent company, VeriSilicon, is a listed industry leader specializing in self-developed AI ASIC chips. It ranked as the world's fourth-largest full-stack custom chip solution provider by 2025 revenue.
The new R&D center will focus on semiconductor brand research and customized chip development for automotive electronics and artificial intelligence. Leveraging its leading technological strengths, it will attract upstream and downstream IC enterprises, cultivate specialized professionals, and help optimize Guangzhou's integrated IC ecosystem.
