Several cutting-edge tech firms from Baiyun district made a strong impression at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-level Meeting on Global AI Governance (WAIC), which kicked off in Shanghai on July 17 with over 1,100 enterprises presenting more than 3,000 exhibits.

Li-Gong Industrial stood out in the hotly contested embodied intelligence track. At its booth, a team of wheeled humanoid robots ("LeadIn F1") performed smart retail sorting, material handling, and warehousing tasks, demonstrating a complete closed-loop application from task triggering to execution and real-time feedback.

Cao Yuran, senior marketing manager at Li-Gong, emphasized that the company focuses on system capabilities beyond hardware — integrating robotics, industrial data collection, software, task scheduling, model training, and deployment.

"With Guangzhou's solid manufacturing base and rich application scenarios," he said, "we aim to push embodied intelligence from demo showcases to large-scale industrial deployment."
