2 major industrial projects topped out in Baiyun
Two significant industrial projects in Baiyun district of Guangzhou celebrated their topping-out on Aug 10, marking new progress in the district's efforts to boost the development of industrial projects.
The first project, Guangdong Owgels Medical Devices Industrial Park, located in Guangzhou Private Science and Technology Park, is a major investment by Guangdong Owgels Science and Technology. The company, known for its proprietary oxygen production technology, specializes in oxygen concentrators, ventilators, and nebulizers, with its products exporting to over 150 countries and regions.

With an investment of around 190 million yuan ($28.1 million), the industrial park focuses on R&D, production and manufacturing of advanced medical devices, aiming to become a specialized hub for integrated medical device development and production. Set to begin operations by the end of 2026, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of 450 million yuan.

The second project, Lingyun International Center in the Guangzhou Mobile Internet Industrial Park, also known as "Yunwan Digital Valley", marked its topping-out on Aug 10. This project targets high-end software, software outsourcing and digital governance, with an expected annual output of 1.2 billion yuan. It is expected to serve as a key driver for regional economic development.
