New schools to open in Baiyun in Sept
Baiyun district in Guangzhou will see the inauguration of several new schools in September, when the new semester kicks off.
Earlier this year, Longtao Foreign Language Experimental School received approval to establish a high-school campus, which will open its doors to its first batch of students on Sept 1. The new campus boasts 61 standard classrooms and is fully outfitted with specialized facilities for subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, history, and the arts.

The campus features a state-of-the-art sports area, including an indoor heated swimming pool and a 400-meter standard track. The student dormitories are well-equipped with large balconies and private bathrooms.
The Guangzhou Airport Experimental Middle School's Jiannan Campus is also opening, accommodating middle and high school students. Spanning around 116 mu (7.73 hectares), the campus includes 400-meter and 200-meter tracks, indoor sports facilities, and swimming pools. The school has also been designated as a pilot for smart dining, with intelligent cooking robots preparing more than 500 dishes.

Meanwhile, Guangwai Experimental Secondary School's Chentian West Campus is set to admit middle-school students in September. The campus is equipped with eco-friendly facilities and offers a multilingual curriculum. Students will also have access to the library and high-end sports facilities at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, promoting diverse educational experiences.
