Baiyun sees strong momentum in project construction
As the second half of the year unfolds, Guangzhou's Baiyun district is seeing continued momentum in project construction.
The high-rise office tower GDH Future City project is reshaping the skyline, while significant progress is being made in various projects in fields such as new energy, automotive, and digital creativity.

The Felicitysolar PV & Energy Storage R&D and Manufacturing Base project has nearly completed its main structure. Located in the Guangzhou Private Science and Technology Park, this facility is set to be operational in 2027. With an investment of approximately 1 billion yuan ($148 million), the project aims to generate an output value totaling 10 billion yuan.
Meanwhile, the basement structure of the Baiyun Automotive Headquarters project, a key component of the district's billion-level automotive avenue, has been completed. The main structure of the project is expected to top out in February 2027. It will feature headquarters offices, automotive trade, and R&D facilities.

The Metaverse Future World Industrial Park is nearing completion, set to open in October. It aims to become a hub for the digital creative industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
In addition, the Cantonese Cuisine Digital Industrial Park was officially launched on Aug 28, emphasizing cultural heritage and smart manufacturing within the modern agricultural sector.
