The Baiyun district government announced the opening of applications for its second round of talent apartments for 2026 on Sept 16, as part of its efforts to welcome fresh new talent.

Located in the core area of Baiyun Lake Digital Technology City, the talent apartments total 72 units, including 15 one-bedroom flats (54 square meters), 25 two-bedroom flats (78 sq m), and 32 three-bedroom apartments (101 sq m each).

Baiyun Lake Digital Technology City is a key development platform and innovation hub in Baiyun district, hosting high-tech industries like high-end software, new-generation information technology, artificial intelligence, and new materials.

The apartments, which offer scenic views of Baiyun Lake and convenient access to Metro Line 8, are the district's first to meet stringent talent introduction policies.

Applications are open until Sept 30 for high-level talents, government and enterprise employees, and young professionals from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.

Eligibility requires working in Baiyun, no property ownership in Guangzhou, and compliance with specific educational and professional criteria. Rent is set at 34 yuan ($5.1) per sq m per month, with a five-year lease.

Interested applicants must submit documents to Baiyun Jianke Holdings Group for review.
