Baiyun district's smart products attracted large crowds and much praise on the opening day of the 140th Canton Fair on Oct 15, with exhibitors drawing enthusiastic interest from global buyers.

Some 180 Baiyun enterprises are set to exhibit at the fair in three phases from Oct 15 to Nov 4, occupying 587 booths, up 2.4 percent from last year's edition. Sixty-five companies are participating in the first phase, covering consumer electronics, auto parts, and home appliances.

In the service robot zone, Guangzhou Saite Intelligent Technology's autonomous cleaning robot stopped buyers in their tracks. "This is the future!" said one overseas buyer whose business relies heavily on cleaning vehicles.

Saite holds over 700 patents and intellectual property rights, with products used in more than 300 hospitals nationwide. Its medical service and cleaning robots have seen orders double this year.

Nearby, Guangzhou Li-Gong Industrial debuted its upgraded omnidirectional wheeled humanoid robot, the "LeadIn F1-S", which adapts directly to existing workstations, multi-spec bins, and high-rise shelves without site modification. It's also showcasing robot assembly, workshop logistics, and unmanned retail solutions.

In the home appliance section, Guangzhou Hanle Electric Industrial's 64-inch Micro-LED transparent display drew gasps of "Amazing!" from buyers. General Manager Tian Guodong said the product has already entered mass production.

Guangzhou Nashinal Microelectronics Technology also attracted buyers with its smart LCD TVs and audio products, with its goods having been exported to over 80 countries and regions.
