Baiyun Electric rolls out SST solution to power AI computing
Guangzhou Baiyun Electric Equipment, a high-tech company based in Baiyun district, has launched the SST integrated power products and solution for AI computing centers.
At the launch event on Oct 16, the company signed strategic cooperation agreements with multiple research institutions and enterprises. More than 200 invited guests from government departments, academia, industry, and investment sectors attended the event.
This launch of the SST integrated power solution aligns with China's national infrastructure strategy, which emphasizes "computing-electricity synergy", as highlighted in this year's government work report.
It addresses the growing power demands of AI models by streamlining power delivery directly to computing equipment — ensuring stable, efficient power supply with virtually no outages, while using 65 percent less space than conventional equipment.
Fewer power conversions and reduced raw material use bring lifecycle costs down by 20 percent and civil construction workload down by 70 percent, while built-in intelligent monitoring predicts faults early, cutting maintenance costs.
Primarily designed for AI computing centers and large-scale computing facilities, it can be expanded to other areas such as photovoltaic power generation, energy storage industrial parks, high-power electric vehicle supercharging stations, and interconnected power distribution networks.
