On the evening of Oct 30, a signature gala of the 2026 China (Guangzhou) International Fashion Industry Conference took place at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center.

Through runway shows, static exhibitions and key releases, it spotlighted Baiyun district as the center of Guangzhou's fashion industry.

Home‑grown labels took center stage. Local women's‑wear brand Longyatong presented its "Dragon‑Riding Girls" collection, expressing its brand philosophy of offering "solutions for women's body shapes" rather than simply making women's clothing.

The Guangzhou Baiyun World Leather Trading Center and Baili NYC International Leather Goods Plaza joined forces with several brands for a collaborative 2027 fashion debut, showcasing the transformation of Baiyun's Sanyuanli Leather Goods Business District from traditional wholesale to original design.

Thirteen manufacturers from Longgui sub‑district jointly staged shows covering cosmetics, fragrance, leatherware and apparel, showcasing local smart manufacturing. FIIO, a HiFi equipment maker, showcased its sub-brand SNOWSKY, which combines HiFi technology with retro trends for young consumers.

The event also saw the launch of the "BAIYUN FASHION TOUR" industry map, designed to showcase local fashion businesses and help them connect with potential partners.

Baiyun has established two national- and provincial-level characteristic industrial clusters for small and medium-sized enterprises in cosmetics and fashion apparel design.

It is home to about one-sixth of China's licensed cosmetics manufacturers and leads all districts and counties nationwide in online beauty product shipments, reaching 39.8 billion yuan ($5.97 billion) in sales.
